Hey guys. My name is Kevin Bergeron and I operate Waxwork Records. We are a record label that specializes in the release of film scores in LP format.

Our recent releases include Richard Band's Re-Animator, Christopher Komeda's Rosemary's Baby, John Harrison's Day of the Dead and Creepshow, and Chuck Cirino's Chopping Mall. On the horizon are Manfredini's scores to the Friday the 13th films, De Vorzon's The Warriors, numerous scores by Danny Elfman, and more.

We must give credit where credit is due and thank Matt and Michael at La La Land Records and Lukas Kendell. Those guys are incredible people, and have been a massive help.

We wanted to get on here to introduce ourselves, yap about film scores, and answer any questions about Waxwork anyone may have.

Welcome, Waxwork.

I am a proud owner of Rosemary's Baby lp which I know is just like La La Land's cd, which I also have, but the lp is still my first choice when I want to listen to the score. So keep up the good work. You have some stiff competition with the guys in Austin, and I hope that competition will force some great vinyl in the near future.

Kudos to you guys at Waxwork. My last two vinyl purchases were CREEPSHOW, on your label, and JURASSIC PARK versions A and B, from Mondo.

My next vinyl purchase will be the TRON soundtrack, from Audio Fidelity, on translucent blue vinyl.

I'm pleased you guys are in business, and want to give you more. Surprise us. And you might look at some of the FSM back catalogue of releases, and La-La Land's to get some idea of what I'd love to see in the format.

Heck, I'd even consider buying some of the scores that are preserved only in mono, provided the pressing and the package are good enough.

Good luck, Kevin. I almost wish I hadn't ditched my turntable and LPs several years ago. My son collects LPs, and though he isn't into soundtracks in general I know he has picked up every available John Carpenter score on LP. I'll pass along the information to him.

This great company just put up a link for a subscription plan that offers 5 releases for 2015. One of the titles is still forthcoming, but 3 of them really have my attention. They will be releasing PHASE IV and C.H.U.D. (Two scores never released) as well as NIGHTBREED! I'm hoping for CD releases as well from one of the many great companies out there. If not then at least I'll finally have C.H.U.D.

Subscription costs 175$ for US customers
and 275$ for international customers
for that includes 5 LP releases and some other stuff

I think this is cool that they offer subscriptions so you won´t miss out on their gems...
