If you watched movies in the 80's, a lot of them were from him/them.

And you had a good time.

RIP, sad news.

I always recognized his name, mostly for 80s productions. Didn't know that he directed as many as 45 films though. He produced 209 films according to imdb.

He was musically up-to-date as a director in the 80s, hiring Alan Silvestri for Delta Force and Giorgio Moroder for Over The Top.

As a producer he was even more present, working with Sylvester Levay on Cobra, Gary Chang on 52 Pick-Up and Firewalker, Pino Donaggio on The Barbarians, Eric Allaman on Down Twisted, Tangerine Dream on Shy People, Todd Rundgren on Under Cover, and Paul Hertzog on Bloodsport.
