I scrolled through my iPod while in the office today and picked Mrs. Doubtfire to get through the afternoon. As I listened, I was actually disctracted and not getting much done. All I could do was envision scenes from the movie - tender and hilarious - and realize again what we have lost.
I'm looking forward to his upcoming Christmas movie.
I strongly recommend World's Greatest Dad. He delivers a fantastic performance in it, and the ending is now kind of iconic in my mind. The imagery and song with the emotion of the film's finale is very moving, and it's difficult not to think beyond the character and think of Robin the man himself. There is a...sense of freeing something painful. See the film and you'll understand what I mean.
