I would recommend soundtrackcollector. I am not sure if you can search by label, but if you search by artist, you can make a rather complete list.

Beat has also released vinyl (LP & 45rpm's) were many of the titles got reissued and expanded on CD later on. So if one wants to include their vinyl, it becomes even more complicated.

Searching Soundtrack Collector might be a start. For Beat, under label, on the 'search on' option, lists 452 matches whereas searching for BEAT RECORDS gives us 416 matches.

There is a book somewhere by Beat Records which includes a CD and lists Beat releases with loads of pics. I know I've seen it.

*updated* numbers CDDM264 through CDDM267, although only 2 titles are known at this time.

CDDM264 = Carlo Savina's IL MORALISTA

and

CDDM267 = Stelvio Cipriani's IL DIAVOLO A SETTE FACCE

(dare I hope that either CDDM265 or CDDM266 will be Armando Trovajoli's IL MITO?!)

Hey, serifiot (and all other interested parties) - the titles of the 2 'missing' CDs have been revealed!

CDDM265 = Le sette fatiche di Alì Babà (1962) by Marcello Giombini

CCDM266 = La prima notte del Dottor Danieli, industriale, col complesso del… giocattolo (1970) & Il merlo maschio (1971) by Riz Ortolani

Would never have guessed any of these! frown

The only Lando Buzzanca comedy I've ever seen so far is Lucio Fulci's All'onorevole piacciono le donne - maybe its soundtrack by Fred Bongusto will come forth since Digitmovies' focus seems to have shifted onto comedies over the past 12 months...

The next 2 albums in this production line (and the first to be announced/released in 2015) will be:

CDDM268 = Justine (1968) by Bruno Nicolai

and

CDDM270 = La Regina Delle Amazzoni (1960) by Roberto Nicolosi

[the other release is a SPDM ... and so far no indication of what CDDM269 might be]

Has Digitmovies ceased their CDDM production line?

https://www.digitmovies.com/digitsoundtracks/products/

This label's most recent announcements sport these new product ID# designations: DGST001, DGST002, & DGST003.

Whichever serial #s, Digitmovies is offering an early 1970s feast!

  • a pair of 1974 Agostina Belli movies scored by Daniele Patucchi
  • a pair of 1971 movies scored by Gianfranco Plenizio
    and
  • a 1970 Spanish production with music by Carlo Savina

    Digitmovies is now doing co-productions with Beat Records under the new brand DigiBeat, and so the new numbering.

    Not quite, because the numbering for the DigBeat CDs till now was DGBT. For example for SETTE NOTE IN NERO (THE PSYCHIC): DGBT 002.
    DGST seems to be a new series now, but also done in co-production with Beat:
    "After a year dedicated to the development of a new corporate project, we return more excited than before to present the birth of a new series, featuring the ever stronger partnership between Digitmovies and Beat Records and the restart of the usual publications frequency in the OST world."

    To confuse matters more, the next 2 new releases from Digitmovies will be neither DGST nor DGBT - they will resume the CDDM line where Nicolosi's La regina delle amazzoni left off! roll eyes

  • CDDM271: Peccati in famiglia (1975) by Guido & Maurizio De Angelis

  • CDDM273: Edipeon - Il sapore della pelle (1970) by Stelvio Cipriani

    We still haven't witnessed what CDDM269 is, and now we can also add CDDM272 into the puzzle of skipped (or delayed) serial #s/product IDs.

    Wonderful job sir. This list is most handy. I'm an Italian score NUT! Morricone, Cipriani and Picioni are my favorites, but ready to delve into Carlo Savina now.

    Thanks, MCurry29.

    Glad to hear you're exploring Savina. I hope you also like the music of Fusco and Gaslini (from the Antonioni box set smile ).

    My understanding is that Cipriani soundtracks are very popular amongst Japanese collectors, so Cipriani titles might get pushed ahead of others in the production lines since he's bread-n-butter (as with Morricone) for the labels.

    DGST001.
  • a 1970 Spanish production with music by Carlo Savina

    Savina's Il tuo dolce corpo da uccidere (1970, mono) is DGST001.

    There are some curious differences on this album (which I got a few days ago) from what I've come to expect from Digitmovies.
    One is that the year 2015 does not appear on the reverse side with the album details.
    On the last page of the booklet inside, it states that this album was produced by Beat Records in April 2015.

    Another thing I noticed is that the "DiscOverItaly" logo (which has been appearing on the Digitmovies discs since the end of 2013/early 2014 is not anywhere to be seen on DGST001.

    There's more ... the silver SIAE stamp sticker on the backside of the album does not list the film title in its content and states the producer is "Beat Records" even though the album is obviously packaged as a Digitmovies disc. roll eyes

    It seems as though these alterations might confuse import/export distributors & other authorities but most likely were done in accordance with regulations governing over such products.

    Finally, we learn that CDDM272 is Gianni Ferrio's 1969 Las trompetas del apocalipsis, a Spanish-Italian flick also known as Trumpet of the Apocalypse or Murder by Music as well as Perversion Story.

    [Not to be confused with the Perversion Story directed by Lucio Fulcio (also from 1969) and scored by Riz Ortolani.]

    CDDM274 = Uccidete Johnny Ringo, a 1966 Euro-Western by Pippo Caruso. Caruso wrote music for only about a half-dozen feature films, of which Uccidete Johnny Ringo is apparently the earliest.

    Very good news about Perversion Story and also Alfredo, Alfredo, without the bad stereo effects on the CAM release. I guess Uccidete Johnny Ringo is the first western in a while, and I'm happy about, but I'm not too much a genre collector so more obscure movies from more well know composers might have been as good.

    Yeah - time for another update.

    I continue (& will continue) to add to this thread whenever I learn of new items for pre-order @ Digitmovies, even though there may be only an audience of around 5 people (slint, Stefan Schlegel, blue15, MCurry29, Ag^Janus). Even members like Dorian and wayoutwest apparently no longer log in to comment.

    This time around, though, there's only 2 new releases from Digitmovies and only 1 within the CDDM production line.

    CDDM276 = Gianni Ferrio's 1978 Milano... Difendersi o Morire. This one is from the composer's monaural tapes. (The cover art displays a pair of topless women)

    The other release is from the SPDM line and features one film score and one television series with music by Romolo Grano.

    I'm happy about Arcana since this is a rare LP (and conducted by Berto Pisano).
