BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE---spoiler alert (see below).
STAR WARS: EPISODE VII---photo released of Mark Hamill taken on the set at Pinewood Studios. It wasn't confirmed if Hamill's beard is part of the script or just a result of the production hiatus caused by Harrison Ford's injury.
Also, design artist Tom Hodges drew a picture of the new Stormtrooper helmet he was allowed to see from the sequel.
MARVEL STUDIOS---Katee Sackhoff (LONGMIRE, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA) commented on rumors she will have a cameo in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON and will star in her own Marvel superhero movie, possibly Ms. Marvel, “[the Marvel job] not necessarily a movie and not necessarily a superhero that you would think of." She said she met with Stan Lee, but added, "As of this moment, I have not sat down with anybody from Marvel for any role specifically. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that something with Marvel is completely off the table for the future. Any time I can play a strong female that’s a role model, it’s a good day.”
THE BRITTANY MURPHY STORY---Lifetime Brittany Murphy tv biomovie with Amanda Fuller (LAST MAN STANDING) playing Brittany, and Sherilyn Fenn (RAY DONOVAN) playing her mother. Premiere is September 6.
WESTWORLD---Thandie Newton (MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 2) has joined the cast of the HBO series based on the 1973 Michael Crichton movie. Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris and Evan Rachel Wood also star. Also, HBO renewed THE LEFTOVERS for Season 2.
BAD BOYS 3---Martin Lawrence said the latest sequel is underway, "I believe so, yes. I just talked to Jerry Bruckheimer... yesterday and he said its real. They’re working on the script, they’re getting close and it all looks good."
BETTY BOOP---hybrid animated movie underway based on the cartoon character with Simon Cowell as a producer.
LEATHERFACE---prequel origin movie to THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE is underway with the script by Seth M. Sherwood.
SINISTER 2---James Ransone returns for the sequel with Shannyn Sossaman playing a mother and her twins who move into a rural house where evil dwells.
AMITYVILLE: THE AWAKENING---the latest sequel stars Jennifer Jason Leigh.
SKULL AND BONES---untitled USA Network/Rob Reiner series about a 1960s Yale student who is recruited by the CIA to be a mole in the secretive Yale Skull and Bones society.
ROGUE---DirecTV renewed the series for Season 3.
THE KILLS---tv series underway based on the novel about the international manhunt for a British mercenary who stole $50 million from a US redevelopment project in Iraq.

BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE---an extra who worked on the movie for ten days revealed two scenes from the sequel. The first scene has Batman breaking into LexCorp to steal Kryptonite. The second scene has Lex Luthor obtains General Zod's body. A source confirmed the extra's account and added, "Lex has been gathering pieces and debris from the World Engine and he has used them to synthesize Kryptonite. Meanwhile he has also gotten ahold of Zod's corpse, and it is the key to his master plan to defeat Superman. He uses that tissue to... well, that would be spoiling. But Superman hasn't been defeated many times in the past. You can probably connect the dots from here."
