Ah, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2...

That movie where an electrical engineer (not janitor, I'm afraid) doesn't think to wear protective gloves whilst handling an electrical connector (a detail stressed in the direct-to-video sequel Sometimes They Come Back...Again...and by a mentally-challenged character, at that!). But, maybe that wouldn't have protected him from the open container of electric eels common to most million-dollar businesses.

And there's the last scene, completely resemblant of a "Robot Chicken" sketch where a naive little boy faces off against a villain in a mechanized suit that could easily turn the moppet into a stain on the pavement...surrounded by people who don't even think to pull him to safety or, you know, yell at him to run away. "You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us", my ass.

And then, there's that damned web hand, which rivals World War Z's 'zombies crawling over each other like ants' shot as the most idiotic (and idiotic-looking) misuse of CGI in a summer blockbuster.

This movie made how much?!

(Don't think I'm coming down on the movie. I liked parts of it, but Holy Moses, does it not stand up to scrutiny.)
