Not sure if this has another thread , but Joe dantes horror / comedy is out this week , and it has an isolated Music and effects track on ARROW in the uk

Is the music and effects tracks mixed together or do you think the music and the effects sounds are on seperate channels??

They're usually mixed together. It's the track they provide to foreign distributors for dubbing.

I seriously wish this was region free. I'd buy it in a heartbeat (even if it didn't have the isolated music/effects track.)

Just watching the workprint version of the film at the moment. It has temp music (a fair bit of Morricone-style western music).

I wonder, who's responsible for clearing the music on the temp score in a case like this - the studio or the home video company?

I am not sure , Joe Dante also uses herrmanns trouble with harry in the workprint .

This is a great blu ray , and although there is FX on the isolated track its still good to here jerrys score .

It was interesting to hear other music cues in the workprint.
I just watched 3-4 scenes and couldn't identify the music, except for the second scene with the newspaper boy where they had used a cue from EXPLORERS.
