While I wouldn't poo poo it, how much is missing that hasn't been rerecorded (between the Bernstein recording and the Chandos one, which IIRC is basically the same as the Varese one)?

On Facebook, James has indicated that another Rozsa score is in the planning stage. I wonder what delights he has in store for us this time.
Well if all goes to plan then I hope to record a Herrmann score in November....a Rozsa score next March...and a Tiomkin score next October...we shall see...

That's great, Tadlow. Sounds like there's lots of exciting stuff to look forward to. But I will never stop nagging you for Williams' STORIA DI UNA DONNA/STORY OF A WOMAN (and no, sadly I do not have thousands of dollars to finance the project myself....it's just a wish that I'm hoping a record producer like yourself -- with all the relevant networks -- will share! ).

That's three out of four of my favourite composers. What! No Alfred Newman?

That's wonderful news James. I hope all goes well and you can do it. I have all of the Tadlow CDs and really enjoy them.
I hope the Rozsa is Thief of Bagdad and the Tiomkin is Duel in the Sun, not sure on the Herrmann. But any Tadlow CDs are most appreciated!
DUEL IN THE SUN and THIEF OF BAGDAD have been on my most wanted re-recordings list for a very long time. Sad to see that the new Barry is not selling that well. If the next Barry is THE BETSY what are the chances of THE TAMARIND SEED seeing the light of day at some soundtrack label ?
