I'm sure this has been done many times before but I haven't gotten in on it before. What is you're favorite music from an action scene in a movie? The movie doesn't have to be an action movie, but the scene does. Please describe the scene and name the track as it appears in the album. If the music is not found in an album, mention that and just describe the scene in the movie. Mine is the track "Desert Chase" from Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's from the scene when Indiana Jones is fighting the Nazis in the convoy of trucks about 3/4 of the way through the film.

No, I like to think I have control over everything I and everyone else have said since the beginning of the board 16 years ago.

That's rubbish, of course. smile

For me, it's a tie:

Williams, "The Asteroid Field".
Bernstein, "The Red Sea".

You haven't lost your mind, Stephen, of course it appeared - on the other similar thread with the OP from Feb. 2013!

"Baja Fuego" from UNDER FIRE by Jerry Goldsmith. In the film in accompanies the scene of Nick Nolte being chased by soldiers through (as I remember it) a slum area in a South American city or town.

The cue you are describing, Nick Nolte being chased after they gun down his journalist friend, is not on the album. It is the one major action cue that was left off and consequently sought after by many fans for decades!

But from the rumors I've heard, this could be rectified in a not too distant future smile

I loved this track from first hearing it on the LP in the 60s. I was probably eight or nine.

Presumably in stereo ... smile

I had to wait until 1973 when I purchased the double LP James Bond 10th Anniversary Collection to get that track. I recall it cost me GBP3.10 ... a lot of pocket money!

I may be wrong, because it's been a really long time since I've seen the film, but isn't the cue in the film just a portion of the album cue "Baja Fuego", which does not appear in its full-length in the movie?
