Never knew that one existed, though it looks like it's only for vinyl?
As far as I know, there are four record stores in Vegas (beyond the above one). Two Zia Records (http://www.ziarecords.com/) and two Record City.
Assuming you have a car...
Zia is just west of Sahara & Arville, south side, as well as just south of Flamingo & Eastern, west side.
Record City is a bit wast of the Strip on Sahara, north side, as well as on Charleston, east of Lamb on the south side.
All of these streets I've named are major artery road except for Arville (which is still a semi-major road).
All of them have large amounts of records and CDs though I can't speak for how much film music you might find. The Record City ones tend to have more classical over all (one of them more than the other though I forget which), FWIW.
There are of course book stores with smaller collections too but nothing worth writing home about/

I assumed he was asking specifically about Vinyl since he said "record" in the title and main post. But I could be wrong.

I drive to Las Vegas about once-a-year for a short mini-vacation of a few days.
One of the highlights of my visits is always dropping in to the CD/DVD stores before I go on to eating my way through the buffets and putting my pennies in the casino machines.
For quite a number of years I went to the Record City stores after I discovered them. I used to stay at the Sahara Hotel quite often before it was gutted and revamped into one of the new "alphabet" hotels---and two of the key Record City stores were very near there and each other---on Sahara near Las Vegas Boulevard (the Strip). One had a lot of DVDs and CDs, the other, a few blocks further down on Sahara had mostly LPs and CDs. Unfortunately, that last one was closed down, and, I suppose the stock moved to several other of the Record City stores further out. They were/are fun stores to visit and shop.
A few years later I discovered the two Zia stores mentioned, one on Eastern near Flamingo, and the other, on Sahara, near Arville. These two stores have been more fun for me---though now I'm collecting mostly the remnants of the DVDs I don't already have, and concentrating more on Blu-rays. They seem to have a wider category of items to collect than the Record City stores---Books, LPs, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, and even entertainment collectibles---and it is very neat and well organized if you're trying to find something. Although there is new material included in the racks and stacks, it seems mostly a "pre-owned" paradise and I've always found a number of things to buy there and bring back to LA with me. I can easily spend a few hours in a shopping vist to each and wonder where the time went.
If you think you might travel to Las Vegas on a semi-regular basis, you also might want to obtain a Zia membership card. This is free, and gives points for your purchases, and I think, makes you more of a preferred customer for those things you wish to trade in. Last time I was there I used some of the "points" I had accumulated and saved quite a bit even on the already discounted items. The staff seems made up of young people, many of whom attend the University in LV. They've all been extremely nice to deal with and chat with---even to an old guy like me.
Each of these Zia stores is in a nice mall, so there is always easy free parking if you are driving. I'd recommend them highly.
