A while back I started following the artist Matt Osborne and his Illustrating the Score page on Facebook. A few weeks ago he posted on FB that he was thinking "about making some of these La-La Land Records FSM avatar images available for collectors and, in general, film music fans." I asked him about a drawing that he did for the LLL ST:TOS release that he did that was unused, but still pretty cool. I am happy that the result showed up in the mail yesterday and it looks great. It was fun revisiting this piece, which was originally just an exploratory sketch that was done while fleshing out avatar ideas for the LLL STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES box set. I'll see about getting a page together that shows my LLL avatar designs more fully and in better quality.
