Well the busier with my proper job of contracting and producing orchestral sessions for other composers means I can save more money for classic film music recordings! So if you are a composer "gis us a job" as profits got to film score restoration!!!

YES!!! I want my complete Moross War Lord!

Plus James if you want a really good tax write-off can I interest you in Roy Webb's magnificent seafaring score to 1947's Sinbad the Sailor? Best Sinbad film and best Sinbad score, all due respect to Herrmann, Gregson-Williams, Budd, and of course my beloved Rozsa (I'm hoping you get around to his too of course...and probably much more likely!)

There are so many things I would love to do....but lack of money and the fact that I'm getting old and decrepit might mean I don't do everything in this lifetime....hoping that re-incarnation might be true!!!

Well, remember what happened to The Producers. Sinbad the Sailor could turn to be another Springtime For Hitler. smile

Yes, very impressive newsletter. I'm pleased to say I have a lot of the releases mentioned. Out of interest (to me anyway), what was the recent CD recorded by ALW and Nigel Wright? Was that the new release by Michael Ball?

Thanks for your reply, James. His most recent release, 'Both Sides Now' was the COPP and you're credited in the booklet is all I know.

As long as we are suggesting projects, I will try again with THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER. What the hell, what harm can it do?

By the way, thanks for all your great recordings. I have most of them.

According to IMDb, Dream of the Butterfly is titled The Butterfly's Dream. Dream of the Butterfly is a short film from 2009.

Different titles in different countries...depending upon way they translate from Turkish,,, just recorded today a score for Turkish TV series, first time an orchestra has ever been used for TV

In that case I may as well try again with THE PRIDE AND THE PASSION. A wonderful score which has far more music than the mono OST album.
