Although not listed on Sepia's website as yet, it looks like they will be issuing the Cinerama soundtrack for "Search for Paradise" in stereo, though whether this will also include sound effects and narration remains to be heard.
Also surprised that thee is ot more music as the film is scored wall to wall Thiw cd is exactly the same as the mono rca lp isn selection and timing. might be ablt to life ome music from the forthcoming blu ray. The original film had Overture, INtermission Music and Exit music.

Details still not listed on Sepia's web site, but I think Amazon may have made the false assumption that the track listing is the same as the mp3 downloads of the RCA album...

Sepia is not a label that licenses from RCA or any other label. They do stuff that previously fell under the fifty year rule.

this makes more sence.
SAE did have the LP breakdown on its website, now has the above info.
Will this have dialog? sound effects? Still, looks like a good CD, I hope.
blow up the picture of the cover on the SAE website. The cover claims in big letters this is performed by the Wrner Brothers orchestra and chorus !!!! Whence cometh this info ?
It's curious that the Prologue is the Elmer version - presumably they would have had to licence this track?
The cover illustration used on SAE and Amazon, by the way, seems to be a mock-up created for the mp3 version of the old album, and I find they are nearly always dreadful.
The music is not true stereo but it sounds very good (I never had the LP). As the notes say. Sepia have used some "digital tricks", as they put, it to achieve a stereo approximation. The difference can easily be discerned when listening to "The Search for Paradise" cue taken from the film track which is in true stereo. A very nice package all round with interesting notes about the recording sessions. I never saw the film so am looking forward seeing the Blu-ray in Smilebox next month.
