Yeah, I'm well aware of his grandkids' work. It would be interesting to see if they ever turn to film music. But I was not aware of Jennifer's stroke. If memory serves, she actually did a LITTLE bit of music in the 80s (before this happened), either co-working or doing some vocal work on her brother's albums.

Jennifer Williams was an occasional singer in the late seventies, possibly early eighties, and co-wrote nothing's lost for herbrother Joseph. Then she turned to another field of professional activities.

I am well aware of Hannah Ruick. Didn't mention her, so thank you for reminding us.
She is a terrific singer, possibly the most promising of all.

By the way, that interview with Lionel was hilarious and intriguing....the language he uses and the general attitude to things are SO different from his grandfather, it's hard to believe. But they're two generations apart and have very different backgrounds, so perhaps not so strange.

A strange interview to say the least.

Andrew Gold's Lonely Boy is quintessential to any road trip mix tape. And one of my favourite songs ever, I kid you not. (Accidentally it is there with Thunder Island, from film composer Jay Ferguson).

Andrew Gold and Graham Gouldman were in 80s pop band WAX. Their 1987 hit Building A Bridge To Your Heart was enjoyable:
