Look, I'm not normally one to formally apologize for most things - I'm not that kind of person and I see nothing wrong with taking people down a peg when they're acting, shall we say, less than respectable.
But I recently took to watching your damn show to see why my news feed was getting filled more and more with pony over time, and yes, I can see how people can get into it despite its girliness. John de Lancie doing Q as Discord was surprising especially. The score really has a creepy similarity to Goldsmith's writing techniques at that.
It was wrong of me to post in your threads with the passive-aggressive approach I once had and angered you as a result. I'd gone through depression for a number of years and now I'm seeing things from a different perspective now that I've gotten help. I hope my other friends who ganged on you before feel the same way.
Very classy -- as an initially very skeptical convert to the show myself I'm glad to see you came around. I noticed a lot of clever film music in jokes in the scoring but the only blatant Goldsmithian homage was The Shadow in one of the scores with a masked vigilante sporting a similar hat...I got a big kick out of that I can tell you. Pity they aren't orchestral scores but I guess those days are gone. Which makes me all the more grateful for my Batman and Superman TAS volumes -- thanks LLL!
I made a light joke about his final post and he signed me up for MLP:FiM clubs, and sent me like one or two e-mails. I blocked all the club e-mails, looked for more sites that do that and pre-emptively blocked them, blocked his e-mail, looked for alternative e-mails he uses (he users a few and other users names) and blocked them, and deleted his e-mails without reading them; they looked like long harangues from a pony rostrum.
He's e'fed up in the magical head. Probably thinks people would willingly read such e-mails. I bet he's done this to some other FSM posters as well.
