I just wanted to put a huge thanks out to La La Land as I received my autographed copy of Batman Animated Vol. 3 which shipped within roughly 5 days to Australia and I cannot be more pleased with the care they take in ensuring the package is kept safe.
The autographed cover comes in it's own cardboard package and the cd itself if very well wrapped and I cannot be more pleased with the overall presentation that they give to all their releases.
Well done on another fantastic year of releases so far.
First time I received an autographed copy I almost ripped the booklet opening the package in excitement. I was expecting them to have a single signed booklet in the jewel case. Nope, they send you the signed booklet as an extra so your CDs remain sealed. Always wrapped in enough bubble I could use the package as a pillow. They always go above and beyond. Just open your packages carefully.
Ordered yesterday, already have a shipping confirmation and their packages are very secure. I especially enjoy the fact they use plenty of bubble wrap, not so that I can squeeze open bubbles as I listen to their scores (could have been ) but I like to re-use that when I send packages of my own.
I'm pretty sure my recent Batman the Animated Series release was more bubble wrap than album. Gave me something fun to pop while I was waiting for the tracks to go onto my computer
Even though they've probably got me on ignore on this board for whatever reason, you can't beat the La La Land service as far as I'm concerned. I placed an order for their newest release of the original score for Bernstein's "The Sons of Katie Elder" last year. My favorite Bernstein western score close behind Big Jake. I received an empty jewel case. Everything else was there, just no cd. Upon emailing the company, Matt made it right almost instantly. In only a few days I had another copy in my mailbox. The cd was in the case this time no questions asked. I appreciate good customer service and feel it should be recognized.
