Elizabeth Pena (September 23, 1959 - October 14, 2014) has died at age 55. She was a highly versatile actress, portraying memorable dramatic characters in films like 'Lone Star', 'Jacob's Ladder' and comedic parts in TV's 'Modern Family'. She also appeared in 'La Bamba', 'Down and Out in Beverly Hills', 'Rush Hour' and provided her voice to the character 'Mirage' in the animated hit 'The Incredibles'.
And don't forget one of her first claims to fame the short-lived sitcom "I Married Dora" which decided to go out in clever fashion (this made the Top 50 TV Guide memorable moments).
One of the first things I ever saw her in was the excellent John Sayles TV series, Shannon's Deal, which starred Jamey Sheridan. Great show that needs a DVD release.
