I don't know the answer, but I'd sure like to know what group name is on the drum set. Even if, as I suspect, it's a ficticious band.

The girl laying down in front of the kick drum looks an awful lot like a very young Cheryl Tiegs.

If it will help you any, the band's name is The Carrie Nations. That band came in as No. 7 on Entertainment Weekly's list of the Top 10 Fake Bands:

1. Spinal Tap
2. The Monkees
3. Josie and the Pussycats
4. The Rutles
5. The Zack Attack
6. Stillwater
7. The Carrie Nations
8. The Partridge Family
9. Jem
10. The Soggy Bottom Boys

Trivia note: The Carrie Nations were known as The Kelly Affair until they changed their name.

The band was first called The Kelly Affair in the movie.
The music was Stu-pendous.

In England this was released with Myra Breckinridge. It has to be the most tedious double-bill I ever sat through. I can't remember any of it, thank god.

Does the title refer to her cleavage? Hard to get past that!

The screenplay was written by a film critic.

"Josie and the Pussycats Go To Hell... and meet The Manson Family!"

That's as apt a description as any for this docudrama...

Great music by Stu Phillips, which was released on an extended edition a few years ago, along with the songs with the original vocal tracks by Lynn Carey.

I attended the premiere cast party for this film, at the home of one of its stars. A great time. I LOVE this movie.
