I am thrilled to have this set. Pity, if this ever goes out of print.

The 3-disc has alternative takes and some reworkings from the Sedares suites, plus the original finale and some vid footage files, including an interview with Nic and James with Doug Raynes. All magic stuff.

Right after I bought a used copy on Amazon, of course. (I bought it when it was first released, but that copy is buried in storage). Do I want to get the new/improved version? Pls. advise. Thanks, PNJ

Just to let everyone know, I have done a final re-release/repress of the 3 Discs Edition of EL CID. After that it will be no more.... Good news, Fitz. This one is a titan, with much repeat listenability. The COPP really hit the summit with this and THE ALAMO. Thanks.

Thanks, James, I should have read your original post more clearly. Keep up the great work, Preston (PS - a whisper in your ear aimed at your unconscious: THE THIEF OF BAGDAD………)

You're right; that would make an awesome cover. I think we can all agree we don't need James to spend any money to include images from the actual film on this release, right? I mean, who wants to be reminded of that movie? The painting is much better. James, if you end up deciding to do The Thief of Bagdad, please be sure to get in touch with John Morgan. He's already done a lot of the work on the project for you and if he, Bill, and Anna aren't going to do it for Tribute (as seems likely) then it would be a great shame for all his great work to go to waste. I believe the Tribute team has helped you out a bit in the past (Lawrence of Arabia?) so I assume you have no aversion to this suggestion... Yavar
