Argh, why do they torture us so. Especially when they want us to save for the Black Friday deals.

Don't suppose they care - they get our cash either way! :-/

And just when I was congratulating myself for spending less on film scores the last couple of months. smile

Oh well. Looks like it's time for Batman: TAS Vol. 3 and Empire of the Sun.

I keep up with new LLL releases that I want as they come, for the most part, but this is a good opportunity to dig into the archives and see if there's any older or sale stuff that will tickle my fancy at 75% the cost.

What anniversary is this again? Is this their 10th? I keep forgetting.

SO many incredible releases given the red carpet treatment. LLL knows how to deliver the goods!

Their first ever release was Zulu Dawn, released on September 30th 2002.

So I don't know what birthday they are referring to. Maybe they created the company in October of 2001?

Ok, my list contain 6 titles:
Batman-66 (finally!)
Flash (finally!)
In-Laws
21 & 22 Jump Street
Blob
Mechanic (why the hell I didn't listen samples at time it was released?! But from another point of view - now I grab it for $4.98 minus 25% - the deal is better than ever!)

I guess I did not learn the first 2 times, but there is nothing I need from LLL for this sale, because I always pay full price for the releases I want at the time they are released. Next year I will hold off on most of the titles so I can purchase them at the sale.

There is no guarantee of a future sale.

Then it will be my loss. I was excited about the sale, since Intrada's newest releases were a disappointment and when I looked at the LLL catalog, I have everything that I want. Guess I will wait for Black Friday, or I can even wait until next years anniversary sale depending on how fast those title sells.

If so many of us didn't make full-price purchases, LLL likely wouldn't have the opportunity to offer occasional sales like this. I always take these as a great opportunity to take a second look at scores that I passed on for $20, but may find worth $15.

THIS is exactly right.
