Bill, John and Anna did such a FRIGGIN' PERFECT JOB, that you would NEVER KNOW that it WASN'T Herrmann conducting!!! Man... I wish they were able to continue their recordings! I agree. I would love to hear a beautiful re recording of Herrmann's Moby Dick but that's probably just a pipe dream.    Posted:   Oct 28, 2014 - 5:50 PM     By:   Adam.   (Member) Go with the TFC re-recording if you're getting only one, as it has much more music and sports very fine packaging. But be warned, several of the tracks end very abruptly in the middle of the music (it then continues on the next track) and there are a couple of cues where the musicians just can't match the original performance. My favorite track on the Cloud Nine OST is The Phorarhacos. On TFC's edition the music is split into two tracks - The Shadow and The Bird.
