I think I've identified what I don't like about Junkie XL's Batman theme, and maybe someone here can articulate in more technical terms what I'm saying. To me, it feels like XL's theme interrupts whatever it's inserted into. For example, in "Do You Bleed?" and "Fight Night", as a listener you start settling into some really cool action music and then it just stops for us to hear the Batman theme. It's almost like it's structurally incapable of being adapted to other tempos, which prevents it from being as useful as it could be. Does anyone get what I'm trying to say? :-) Hi Martin I think you articulated that perfectly well. I don't know if I agree or not - I can only say that I didn't notice that. I went to the film not expecting Bergman or Eisenstein and I wasn't disappointed. Sure, there were a few points that jarred a little, but I enjoyed it a little more than I was expecting to from all the doom and gloom and misery that had been peddled prior to me seeing it. As I said elsewhere, the venue was a small one, so neither the picture nor the sound were overwhelming and I enjoyed it much more than Man of Steel. I always preferred the bat anyway, and Affleck/Irons made a good pairing. As this is the score discussion thread, I'll just say that I thought it fit the visuals very well. If you love the Reeve version with the stirring, melodic score you'd have to be pretty open-minded to appreciate this much as well. If I had to choose, I'd watch BvS again.

There's a "complete score" on YouTube. The below channel has a playlist of it. Did this get an official physical release? https://www.youtube.com/user/Scratman12/playlists It never got an official release, period. That's a bootleg release you just linked to
