BSX fucked up so many times in the past for me and the only time you got a reply from them was when threatening them by writing in public forums etc.
Once it took me 9 months to recieve a package and when I finally got a reply it was "We´re shipping today" coinsidence, not really.
If i live in another part of the world with different timezones , I will not call because a company can´t answer simple emails.
If you can´t run a buisness properly, close the shop.
Intrada, LLLR, Kritzerland, Varese etc do not have this kind of problem, why do BSX have them?

Answer me that Ford thaxton and please give me a straight answer without mocking...

I'm sorry, but I couldn't hear you over the sound of that Ax Grinding..It's really loud

I only ordered from Buysoundtrax one time. The order was shipped quickly and was correct. But, they just tossed the cds into a very large bubble envelope, no additional packing etc. So the very loose cds banged around and the cases were damaged some, etc. I'm not complaining, in fact after years of reading negative Buysoundtrax comments guess I was one of the lucky ones! smile

I ordered from BSX twice. Both orders only shipped partially and, after waiting months, I had to follow-up to get the rest of the shipment. That ended my dealings with BSX. I've never had any such problems with SAE, Intrada, Varese, Kritzerland, et al. With all these other alternatives, why should I bother with BSX?

Had the exact same experience as Bob. After the first mistake, I thought I'd give them another chance, but that went worse. So instead of all the extra work trying to get my order right and all the stress and frustration attached , I just don't deal with them anymore. If I want one of their releases I will get it at SAE or any other outlet that never has problems.

I'm sure BSX is trying to turn the negativity around. Wishing them luck in hiring a competent staff.

I salute SAE, INTRADA, VARESE and KRITZERLAND for their always outstanding product and excellent service!

BSX motto: There's no business like slow business!

...with a few personal insults and smarmy put-downs of anyone who dares to complain out loud, thrown in to demonstrate their customer relations skills.

Cd Trader (18926 Ventura Blvd, Tarzana, CA 91356) has scads of BSX & La La Land releases, usually sealed and marked down by about 5 bucks. Not just older titles either.
Just a heads up for those here in the LA area.

Gave up ordering from BSX 10 years ago, who needs the aggravation? I love stores and hate the waiting game of ordering online, but sometimes ya just gotta do it.

Just a heads up: I received my order today with only one title missing, which will be sent soon. I love the promotional title they include for any order over $100.
After I wrote an email yesterday, Ford replied quickly.

A friend phoned me a few days ago and asked me about the wisdom of ordering from BSX.

I said nothing to him about the poor service, but simply said to him "Ford Thaxton".

On hearing that, my friend almost choked and gasped "Thanks so much for warning me Gary – I had no idea that he was part of BSX. I'll definitely be going elsewhere with my order".

Errm, let's not maneuver into personal attacks please. I am not defending BSX, but the last comment was a cheap and needless personal pot shot. Keep it above the belt.

I agree with you zooba. The others are topshelf. Last week an order from a well known company here sent an item that was sub-par condition wise (it was new) and all it took was one quick email from me and I had a new copy less than a week later. I was told to keep or discard the original. If BSX happens to have an item I want (the last one was The Wedding Date), I order it from a 3rd party or used. Works every time.

zippy, some folks here know I have been feeling the blues lately but this brought me a pretty big chuckle I must add.
