How do all of you UK members survive Bill Carson? LOL. Looks like if you need an exterminator, you can call Bill and die WITH your bugs.

Also agree with solium . I got bored trying to listen to talk shows.

Medical issues; diet & health; periods

Sleep and/or dreams (dreams are only meaningful to the dreamer)

The route you drove to the party (It truly doesn't matter unless you didn't make it)

Thia was a story on This American Life, topics the interviewee said should be banned from conversation.
I mentioned this to my husband on the way to Thanksgiving dinner with his extended family. These were the topics brought up most that night.
There are exception, but it had better be of monumental scientific interest to the whole world.

Really? Dreams is actually one of my favourite topics. I could listen to and talk about it for hours!

Agreed on that. I'm also one of those oddballs who actually enjoys hearing people's vacation stories and looking at the photos they took.

there was an unrivalled Python sketch where a couple had visitors and bored them senseless with their photo album!
i recall Terry Jones as a woman i think saying to them "Heres another one of the front of the house ...and look, you can just see the side of the house..."
