By popular demand, and because it was an error, "Docking", the now famous missing track from Interstellar will be made available by the label in the near future as a free download. The info comes directly from Hans Zimmer.
Besides, the problem with the worldwide distribution of the boxset is that it includes batteries. Each country has its own laws regarding the importation of batteries because of the mercury rate in the batteries, so it's a bit complex to send the boxset outside of the USA. The good news is they work hard to find a way to make it available to all countries.

Umm, 3 different releases and the track isn't in any of them? Wow. How does that happen?

When I booted up this morning, iTunes downloaded my pre order of the "Deluxe Edition", sad to hear that isn't on that album. Oh well, I'll enjoy it as is and then grab the missing track download when available.

If this is the worst thing to happen today ... razz

So, I can't purchase an album because the ridiculous packaging gimmick contains batteries? What a complete farce.

I would consider helping someone outside the US with a shipment.

I liked the score enough in the movie to buy the deluxe version for $13 on iTunes, but not enough to buy the $40 outer space boxset. What scene is the missing track ("Docking") from? I can think of three scenes in the movie that would fit that title (the initial docking shortly after lift-off, Matt Damon's failed docking, and the heroes' urgent redocking)

The missing track that is causing all this fuss is the best cue in the film. It starts just after McConaughey and Hathaway see the station half destroyed by Damon, then continues on for almost 4 minutes as McConaughey brings his ship underneath the spinning station and matches its RPMs to dock with it, ending when he connects his ship to it.

Thanks - interesting that it was left off. Sounds like we'll get it either way, so that's good!

Usually it's "Batteries Not Included". How ironic!

Wow, how generic. Sounds like something heard a million times in a 70's or 80's horror film.

I think the guy lives near Zimmer and is always screaming complaints from his driveway.

Good news, if you own the soundtrack to Philip Glass' Koyaaniqatsi you get 50% off . It's got all the missing Zimmer tracks.

Heh-heh. It DOES sound an awful lot like vintage Goblin, doesn't it? Especially the beginning.

Every track in this sounded exactly the same anyways.

I'd like to point out that this "news" comes from a conversation on hans-zimmer.com. Neither Zimmer, nor WaterTower have ever publicly said that the missing docking cue will be released.

Your shtick is really old.

And, in this case, completely wrong.
