The missing track that is causing all this fuss is the best cue in the film.

Wow, how generic. Sounds like something heard a million times in a 70's or 80's horror film.

or church services in 1640 Leipzig.

freaking Zimmer.

Ok now wait. That track is a misrepresentation of the over all tone of this Soundtrack Album. It wouldn't surprise me if it was left off purposely, it wouldn't fit in. Plus in the movie that Docking scene is rather suspenseful, leaving you on the edge of your seat due to the music and what we had just witnessed when Matt Damon did it wrong! I just finished listening to the soundtrack while burning in my new Brainwavz HM5 which was part of the same shipment. I feel that Zimmer & Nolan wanted a consistent tone for the album its put together really well, also already really long.
What I'm interested in are what you all think of the Sound Effects mixed in. It's got Rain, Thunder, Waves hitting the shores, and Wind sounds. None of which were in the movie.

And how come this comes in a flimsy 3-fold card, while my Man of Steel came in a tin can!

Those sound effects were in the movie, at least twice.

I only remember the one time with Romilly and the headphones that Cooper gives him after the hypersleep.

Line up to about 0:35 and run to 2:23

and compare with:

Starting at 3:45 and run to 5:35 roughly

The end sound is different, but I am pretty sure that a portion of Docking is heard in Day One Dark track. The end sound (?) is actually heard about 10 seconds prior as well in both clips, it just seems that the film mixed it differently or muted it.
