Roger says

Looks like we will end the year with two releases on 12/2 and two on 12/9. Then we'll see you back here on 1/6.

~

First clues from Roger:

One is the premiere release of a golden age score by a legendary artist who only wrote one film score. The other is simply a reissue of an older Special Collection title that went out of print very quickly. It's a favorite score around these parts and we want it to be available to those that might have missed it. If you have the earlier version, you don't really need this as it's a straight reissue.

Me too but of the two remaining (to be expanded) Goldsmith Hollywood Records albums I want The Ghost and the Darkness even more...

What a year Intrada has had for Silver Age freaks such as myself. Their choices have been right up my alley for the most part.

awww... damn... the first December week will be so expensive with Rombi's Asterix, LLL's black friday batch going on sale, Intrada and also VCL - all within 48 hours... I should better increase my CC limits smile
Hopefully someone in there will be that long awaited Ten Commandments, Volunteers or Conan the Destroyer.

Yep, that is a lot of potentially hot releases in a short space of time. But I won't be getting into debt over them!

Buy what I can afford, wait....or miss out!

If you have been monitoring the Intrada website over the last month or two , you should know that THE TEN COMMANDMENTS is not ready for release. Hopefully in 2015.

I've been reading a book about the breaking of the Enigma code, & I think I've broken Rogers code, it's obviously the original tracks of:

The Great Race - Mancini
Judge Dredd - Silvestri
Start The Revolution Without Me - Addison
23 Paces To Baker Street - Harline

I know you're joking, but when I asked whether there were going to be any more Harline releases on the Intrada boards, I was informed that they had no plans thereof because sales on those titles were way down.

That's rather unfortunate. I guess we can only hope that those who are fans of this music (Kritzerland?) will release them. I can understand, however, that they might want people to buy the golden age soundtracks that are still available before producing new ones. I would be happy with 500 copies rather than nothing. I'm not sure why Friedhofer would work but not Harline though...

Now, wouldn't it be time for another unreleased Mancini classic soundtrack.

Well happily I'm down to a very short wants list these days, & if that Harline title is ever released, it would probably come from Kritzerland (a two-fer with Friedhofer's White Feather, now that would be my release of the year!). I somehow expect The Great Race to come from Intrada, I don't know why.
