Great news! I think my main complaint with his Skyfall score was that he didn't work on the song, which is a vital part of most every Bond score. There's some great writing in there that, yes, is sometimes buried by the overdone electronic percussion, but there's a lot to admire.
Fantastic news! Newman´s score was amazing. Looking forward to a new one.
Same here. Newman blew me away with his wonderful and exciting score fo Skyfall and I can now add his upcoming Bond assignment to my most-anticipated scores of 2015.
So we will have another newman score, there he will try to imitate David Arnold's Bond music? Well... That means only one thing - James Bond is finally dead for me.
Can't wait when Craig will leave franchise - maybe another reboot will reanimate it for me and they will call Arnold back?

Yeah, sort of piggybacking this thought, whether he wrote it or not I just wish Newman had worked the song melody into the score more than once.
I wasn't doubting it, I just hadn't heard it until now and Film Music Reporter wasn't showing it.
