always liked nicolais Don Giovani. had the single first, then the LP. nice Alessandroni whistling. its just scary the volume of italian releases. Plenty is better than too few, but its worrying that if the market dies then one day it could become no releases!

really? fair enough. Thought he cornered the market for italian whistling during this period. Bow to your better knowledge mikael, although ive heard Alex whistle in person and he can do so many different types of whistling it sounded like him. So do we know this womans name or is she a mystery? edit: actualy mikael, now you point it out, i do seem to recall Alex mentioning this woman in an old MSV interview, but i didnt realise it was in relation to Don Gio. You learn something new everyday! Good spot mate. So to amend - Niice whistling - by a woman that isnt Alessandroni!!!

THE FIRST 3 TITLES FOR 2015 ON THE GOLD COLLECTION Pre-orders open Today 5th December 2014 So far, I haven't seen any of these titles available for pre-order at SAE or Intrada. Will Kronos Records CDs for 2015 no longer be available for purchase via other vendors?

Indeed. I had this Nicolai score in vinyl LP, but the new complete presentation is much better. Several other LPs would make nice releases, such as Il Pelo Nel Mondo, L'Alpin L'È Sempre Quel, Civiltà del Mediterraneo, Paolo e Francesca, Allora, Il Treno and Ciao, Ciao. The latter two had the main themes released on compilations. Some of them include new versions of themes on other soundtracks. Most notably, Paolo e Francesca includes some cool lounge themes from Eugenie de Sade, including "Tropical" which I think is the same version. There are also a dozen library LPs that are quite good, altough some of the based on a single concert (organ only, guitar only, etc).
