I commented on this a few days ago. I was hoping for an expanded release as well. But have you seen the recording sessions? It's not a score you could just slap onto a disc as is. There are way to many short cues under a minute. It would require some work in order to create an "album" style presentation, and that might be holding up an eventual release.

"Might just as well go to bed and start dreaming about next year."
"I haven't any dreams left to dream."

wink

Sure, but they do that all the time. It's not as if this score is really all THAT special in terms of it. Hell, have you seen some from Herrmann?

You're seriously suggesting they would include the overlay stuff? What in the world do some of the people on this board smoke? I can't think of any other forum where I've read over and over such ridiculous idiocy as I have here.

And hell, go look in the back of the book of any number of recent Intrada CDs to see what the scores actually looked like before they were assembled onto CD. They are quite similar.

If they released a 10th anniversary CD, what would they do to celebrate the 20th?!

I certainly hope we don't have to wait 10-15 more years for a proper complete Polar Express release!
