For anyone else who doesn't like Reddit or who doesn't want to wade through all of the posts unrelated to Howard Shore's answers, AMAs (just the questions and answers, none of the other stuff) are posted on http://interviewly.com/ usually a day or two after.
I constatly had to click to load more, even after selecting a load of 500. There should seriously be an option tol oad all replies. What a mess.
There were surprisingly few answers from Shore. I mean, I didn't expect him to answer every single question or even half them, but it was like a fraction. And it seems most of it was LotR related.

I didn't know that, thanks. It was a bit annoying scrolling through a bunch of stuff for his answers (but it was worth it anyway!).
They probably use some sort of search algorithm for their pictures. The pictures at Interviewly are never particularly flattering, for the most part, so I doubt they're hand-picked.
That's interesting about King Kong. I always got the impression not a lot of work was accomplished on that before it was turned over to JNH. Then again I never heard how far along he was to begin with.
