Very interesting interview. He is currently re-recording his film themes for an album release next year, go to 1 hour and 16 minutes for more.
Also interesting to hear that he originally wrote the Top Gun Anthem for Fletch, and that Billy Idol got him to use it for TG instead!
I also didn't know that Running Man was a "rescue score". I wonder who did the first one.
Sylvester Levay and Tangerine Dream also get some mentions.
Many things I would have asked him about though, like Fatal Beauty, Kuffs, White Magic and Zeit Der Sehnsucht, but I guess those are the projects no one ever ask about! :-O
He's an incredibly outspoken and sympathetic guy though, much like Zimmer.

I wish he was more in-demand these days, or that he got a resurgence in popular music, much like Moroder has.
Well, if I understood the interview correctly, he is also saying that he will release an album with his own themes being remixed by various DJs next year.
