I won't be able to attend, but highly recommend this to everyone! Hearing Back to the Future live is a treasure in itself, but with those amazing lists of films. The concert is sure to pass the two hour mark and give you your money's worth!

We could not be more excited to announce that the great and legendary, Academy Award-winning David Shire will be performing LIVE in Los Angeles as part of the momentous concert "Back In Time ... 1985 Live!" Shire's films include All The President's Men, Farewell My Lovely, The Hindenberg, 2010, Norma Rae, Short Circuit and Zodiac. Another thrilling announcement that turns up the excitement for this concert even more! Academy Award-nominee David Newman has joined the list of guest conductors for the momentous concert "Back In Time ... 1985 Live!" David Newman has been a great champion of Jerry Goldsmith's music in concert for many years. The two of them were great friends. For our one-night-only show in June we have prepared a very special and world premiere piece with David. The end title suite "Re-United" from Jerry Goldsmith's LEGEND will be performed live for the very first time, with orchestra and choir. One of the great cues from one of Jerry Goldsmith's most spectacular, beautiful and magical scores, this one is going to be breathtaking!

We could not have a celebration of the great film music of 1985 without THE GOONIES. It was one of the most requested score releases we have ever had, until we finally release Dave Grusin's iconic and much-loved score in 2010. GOONIES fans are legendary themselves. The film and the music mean the world to them. It his classic score, Grusin captured the adventure and fun of being a kid. We'll be bringing the exciting Fratelli Chase to the stage for our concert BACK IN TIME ... 1985 AT THE MOVIES! Though Dave Grusin is on tour this summer with Lee Ritenour, we are so excited to have none other than the legendary Lee Holdridge join our historic tribute to 1985 and conduct THE GOONIES on June 11 at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center.
