No, but it's clear that that's their hope. The sound is already so horrible that no further deterioration would be detectable no matter what editing was performed. Look, I've been into audio since 1968, and I know the kind of myths that become perpetuated--the kind of myth that dogged Minidisc, whose ATRAC compression, though totally inaudible, nevertheless killed the format simply because it was a compression system and people were convinced by snob audio critics that any form of compression was bad per se.
