I don't really like it. I agree with solium on that other thread. It glorifies war and it's in poor, cheap taste to my mind. It's overly sentimental, like a scene from 'Goodnight Sweetheart'.
Ads are ads. We've all seen enough of them to know the score.

I can't agree with Thomas about it glorifying war. It does the opposite. If there's anything at all bad about it, it's the commercialism of Christmas sentiment, which is ubiquitous. Not a very original idea, but meaningful.
And you did all notice it was produced in cooperation with the British Legion, who no doubt will get a donation from Sainsbury's. For you guys Trans-Pondo, that's an organisation that takes care of veterans and wounded servicemen and their families, and helps them re-adjust. They're behind all the poppies you see each year around November 11th.
You don't get rid of war by demonising the poor buggers who get maimed and killed trying to deal with it.
