Could this be the first crossover soundtrack album?
In general? No: Alien vs. Predator, Freddy vs. Jason, Star Trek: Generations. On tv? The Star Trek DS9 Tribble-episode had music released. So had Unification -- but perhaps calling that a crossover is a stretch.
And full album tv-crossover? Joe Harnell is way ahead of you
On topic: I'll look into it, so thanks for the heads up. I'm not familiar with either series, but Neely's work on The Pacific made me curious enough.
Could this be the first crossover soundtrack album?
Music from at least one of the "Batman: The Animated Series" and "Superman: The Animated Series" crossovers is on the S:TAS vol 1 soundtrack.
All good points, but this has music from both series whereas the "Kill Oscar" CD didn't have anything from The Six Million Dollar Man.
Although I guess technically those are S:TAS episodes. I didn't know that this crossover was on both series. Figured it was to drum up ratings for the Flash
thanks for sharing news of this. a christmas treat indeed. a great preview to i'm sure an eventual la la land release of some flash music. awesome stuff!
Hey LLL, since you seem to enjoy DC music I have to ask: Are you considering releasing scores to Season 3 of Arrow and/or Season 1 of The Flash, and if so, would this music be included? I'd love to get it, but prefer the physical format and don't want to double-dip.
