I am one of the few who enjoys this movie and the music. This is actually one of my favorite Zimmer scores, even more so than The Lion King. I would certainly welcome an expanded release, but I'm not sure if there's any demand for it or who would/could do it. Anyone know the possibility of this getting the expanded treatment at some point?

Yes, a very enjoyable score by Zimmer and the gifted Trevor Horn. A shame that I still haven't picked up the soundtrack, I only have The Closing Of The Year on a CD-single, and some tracks on a Zimmer bootleg. Are there really much material in the film not on the soundtrack?

Let Joy And Innocence Prevail is a brilliant track:

I remember that someone mentioned the score album was in the works... no idea who that was and what label is supposed to release it... but when it is out, I am definitely in...
One of my favorite HZ scores from the days when his music was still enjoyable.

I think in some part that was intended, but I get what you mean. I still have a fondness for it as at the time it tried to be different and imaginative. The score by Zimmer is uplifting and definitely fitting for the season.

The TOYS album is an odd one, but a nice presentation of the music from the film. Didn't Shirley Walker have a hand in the music, too?

I have a CD single from the film, too (probably the same one that First Breath mentioned). There are two mixes of "The Closing of the Year" on there that could be added to any new edition - an Instrumental version (5'06") and the 'Smooth Variation' (2'31").

I'd certainly welcome an expanded edition.
