Hello!

A message to labels: We definitely need more expanded and unreleased Kamen scores next year!

ROBIN HOOD
THREE MUSKETEERS
LICENCE TO KILL
HIGHLANDER
DEAD ZONE
HUDSON HAWK
THE LAST BOY SCOUT
LAST ACTION HERO
FREQUENCY
X-MEN
EVENT HORIZON
WHAT DREAMS MAY COME
ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING
SHINING THROUGH

Also it would be nice have ASSASSINS with both Mancina's score and Kamen's rejected score.

Please? smile

No interest in expansions, really, but which Kamen scores have had no release whatsoever? I'm not quite up-to-date on that. I also think we should get a remastered version of HIGHLANDER. The existing Edel program is nice enough, but the sound is shoddy.

Nothing but Trouble is a fun score, though I imagine that the 4-minute track on the song album might be more than enough for you even if you love the music.

I would buy everyone of these. I watched Expendables 3 this weekend and wished Kamen was still alive to have done the music for that one. The Lethal Weapon set has been a blessing and has provided lots of listening pleasure, I hope 2015 will provide even more!

Absolutely hope that some label considers his comedy scores, mainly SPLITTING HEIRS, NOTHING BUT TROUBLE and especially all of HUDSON HAWK.

Count me in for any Kamen releases. Would also add to your list

Brazil
The Adventure Of Baron Munchausen
Circle Of Friends
Jack
From The Earth To The Moon
First Daughter

Plenty of ground to cover. Hopefully we'll see a few of these next year.

Would welcome any Kamen whether premiere or expanded. I've always been a big admirer of his scores, but in the last year or so have really come to love many of them, and I've revisited his albums fairly frequently this year (particularly "The New Moon in the Old Moon's Arms" and the opening sequence to "Lethal Weapon 2," which is a knockout).

I believe that La-La Land said we might be seeing an expanded "X-Men" in 2015, which I'm rather excited about, given how much material Kamen had to rewrite, and how much of his other music was altered in post by Klaus Badelt, et al. I imagine that in several respects it might be like hearing an entirely new Kamen score, or at least put much of the music in a fresh context. Here's hoping that's but one of several we see this year.

Also, man, was he a master at making sleigh bells ominous, terrifying, and threatening - between "Die Hard," "Lethal Weapon" and "Brazil," he got great mileage out of that device.

I remember seeing the long-out-of-print The Krays for sale for about $400 about 12 years ago.
I saw the film but don't recall the score, but I do remember the book was one hell of a violent nasty read^

Regarding the other scores mentioned, I concur. Make it so.

Not interested in X men expansion with all the Badelt nonsense but would welcome some unreleased Kamen especially last Boy Scout.

I would give anything for the unreleased incredible 45 minutes of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

I'd also LOVE to hear Michael's unused X-Men score, the one done in 70's style.

More Hudson Hawk, yes please! Such a rich and fun score.

Wilder Napalms is full on orchestral Kamen and really rich and romantic. This was Debra Winger/Dennis Quaid film written by Vince Gilligan in the early 90's. You can watch it on YouTube and the main titles will immediately set you up for the loaded score.

I think Expendables would have been Goldsmith's gig were he still alive

I just listened as you suggested the main and end title of Wilder Napalm + a couple of scored scenes in the movie and it was indeed very good... Would love to see this released...

Maybe Quartet Records would be interested in doing that one, like they did comedy scores by Cliff Eidelman from around the same period.
