I've been checking out a few Western scores lately to add to my collection, and listened to The Outlaw Josey Wales on YouTube as I wasn't familiar with it... I'd definitely be interested in that one.
Did a bit of digging around for threads on here to see why it hasn't had a re-issue, but couldn't really glean any reasons. It certainly seems to be desired amongst people, and the "original recording + album" suggestion mentioned earlier in this thread sounds good to me.
I think it had something to do with Eastwood's company Malpaso not showing much interest in the past (I'm sure I remember reading Lukas say Malpaso were a no-no whenever they'd gone after a title). Intrada have since released Fielding's Alcatraz score, which I hoped had maybe paved the way for a release of Josey Wales. Maybe it's in the works? Maybe some of the soundtrack producers who frequent here have some inside knowledge?

"Yes, we still have a couple of titles, and one of them is almost ready, and very exciting too: the "Bad News Bears" trilogy on a 3-CD set, which also includes the Craig Safan and the Paul Chihara scores, all in pristine stereo."
For the second title they promised an expanded re-release. What could it be?
Like Bad News Bear, it's a sport/comedy flick from the seventies. The score was once available on Japanese LP.
Was the score on the CD or only the songs? I once watched Semi-Touch. There is very little original scoring in it, Fielding mostly did adaptations. I always thought this would be a good companion piece for Barton's Thunderbolt and Lightfood on CD.

The "almost ready" took more than 16 months since August of 2015, but finally "The Bad News Bears" trilogy was announced by Quartet prior to 2016's end.
