Great choice, love Beltrami and he's in top form last couple of years.

Does seem that every big film these days is either scored by Zimmer, Tyler, Desplat or Beltrami

It's bizarre how under the radar this film has been... would like to see FF given back to Marvel, but we'll see.

I have some friends close to this project in the industry who assert that the hiring of a very young and inexperienced director has ultimately been a decision most of the keys involved have come to regret sorely. Sometimes these gambles work, sometimes they don't. We'll see how the end product is shaped as a result, but I'd be surprised if the radio silence didn't have *something* to do with this.

I'm surprised at the negativity towards the announcement and Beltrami in general around the internet.

Actually, BeltramiĀ“s score is the first thing that interests me in this film.

Until DeputyRiley posts this, I'm considering it unofficial and keeping hope alive for my top choice for the project, Michael Convertino.

No, he's scoring the Man of Steel sequel, Children of a Lesser Zod.

Will this be Beltrami's first superhero project?

Unless you discount HELLBOY as a superhero. Otherwise it's not his first comic-book-based venture.

I guess The Wolverine doesn't count in Tango Urilla's world, either!

Wow, do I feel silly. I clearly need more Beltrami in my collection!

He's making a funny. Children of a Lesser God is one of Convertino's more popular scores.

My post was also a joke, Yavar. It was easy and deeply inside at the same time, apparently.
