He wrote an encore piece for Hilary Hahn at the very least. I think this concerto is going to be great and James Ehnes is one of my favorite living violinists...

I wouldn't be surprised if JNH after 100+ scores left the film music business to concentrate on concert works instead.

Probably a bit more fulfilling.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. Is it available anywhere?

I guess you could also call his GRAND CANYON suite a concert piece of sorts, even though it was written for a film.

There's a mockup online someone did from the sheet music, but last time I checked there wasn't a recording available. There's a bit of the End Credits music from The Happening repurposed in it.
