I bought a cheap vinyl copy of this soundtrack. Quite exciting stuff, Jack Nitzsche's Love Theme is kind of simplistic Sylvester Levay-style, while his The Plot Thickens is more similar to Tangerine Dream. Not strange perhaps, as those tracks were produced by former TD-member Michael Hoenig. Also a couple of cool songs, like Mark Shreeve's Paul Hardcastle-sounding Legion, the peculiar Nubian Dance by The Nubians, the cool Party by Willesden Dodgers and the instrumental fusion track African Breeze by Hugh Masekela and Jonathan Butler. There is also en early rap-track by Whodini, plus three more conventional songs by Billy Ocean, Ruby Turner and Precious Wilson. How is the rest of the score? Anyone here who owns this soundtrack? I would love a full score release here, too!

I have the LP. The score in the film has quite a few very entertaining moments, including the airplane chase and the heroic finale. I wouldn't mind an expanded edition.
