David recently wrote (...) a full-blown orchestral score (85 players) for a 40-minute lmax spectacle called THE JOURNEY INSIDE. David wrote 37 minutes of breathtaking, thematic action music. As he was writing the separate cues he was conscious of the way they would go together as a suite of continuous music. No soundtrack album, of course! Matthias Büdinger
Twenty years after, in 2015: Intrada to the rescue!
These are my favorite kinds of surprises: Unexpectedly unearthed hidden gems of true symphonic aplomb and rigor and vitality for under-the-radar projects.
Thank you Intrada. Will definitely be ordering this!
Is this the film in question? I know the clip has been edited to look more ridiculous than it already is, but it's easier to understand why Alan Smithee directed it.
This seems to have been shot on videotape. I don't think there's any way that's an IMAX film. (Also, the film is scored basically wall-to-wall, and this has very little music.)
Got mine today and it is fabulous! Already I am hooked on this gorgeous score! Sound quality is great and the synth is minimal enough that it doesn't distract.
