I agree about Desplat's score for Grand Budapest Hotel. He did such a brilliant job setting the impossibly-quirky tone for Anderson's movie, that I can't even imagine it being scored any other way. I watched it for a second time over the weekend and my appreciation of the music (and the movie) went up even more. I have a sneaky feeling that Academy voters are going to pick this one.
