Looking at my Star Trek: The Original Series box set I notice that on this day in 1965 Alexander Courage and a bunch of talented musicians sat down and recorded the first ever music for Star Trek.
I bet they didn’t think many people would care.
I know Gene Roddenberry wound up taking his cut, but did writing the Star Trek theme ever wind up paying for a house, or a boat, or at least a lot of really good scotch for Mr. Courage?
