Last year Cliff Eidelman released his score for Ken Kwapis' 2005 SEXUAL LIFE first as digital download only, which is now also available as CD-R on demand from Amazon.
The score is rather short with only 18 minutes, but still It's a beautiful score.
1. Main Title: Ferris Wheel 2. Sexual Life Quintet 3. Hope for a New Life 4. David Has Rhythm 5. Tango in the Bedroom 6. Fortune Cookies 7. The Final Goodbye 8. The Curtain Falls 9. Husband and Wife 10. Sexual Life Quartet
1. Yes, I'm one of those who prefers to have things on CD.
2. Yes, I don't like the cover art.
3. No, I don't have any problem with this being the *physical* cover art; I'm just hoping someone can provide something better for iTunes so I can one day have the pretty cover flow I've been aspiring to for the past couple years. I know, I'm shallow. Probably something to post in the "Custom cover art" rather than this one anyway.
I'm super glad for any Eidelman release though. Especialy grateful to Quartet for releasing some they lost money on...
Just ordered this from Amazon USA. I have everything released by Cliff E and enjoy his music in most cases. Looking forward to giving this a spin (not seen the film or heard a note of score). As someone who has no problem with The Runestone (David Newman) cover, I don't see a problem with this either. Just glad there is something to buy and hold for a change!
Calm down son. What is your problem? Sounds personal. Yavar has never said anything negative about downloading. And he said he did not like the cover- he did not say it was "objectionable"!?! And it's you and your boys who are the most long winded-rude posters whenever someone says they object to downloading or want the physical product. Ya'll pile on everytime! Nethery with his "luddites" blasts- not original anymore by the way. If we are all luddites- what are you? Does everyone have to agree with you masters of the galaxy/future of film music? Free choice-right? Go plug yourself into the BORG. Stop your own bitching.
All these years later, dtw stepped up to the plate with very nice work in the Custom Covers thread -- dunno about others here but my Eidelman iTunes cover flow thanks him very much!
