Same thing happen in New Jersey. Just have to learn to live with it. They don't charge tax on market place purchases at least in Jersey. It does make other options like Walmart or best buy more attractive.
Stopped ordering from amazon.com a long time ago. Ridiculous postage to Europe.
I don't order as much from Amazon anymore either. It used to be a great "deal". Especially used movies and music. Back when domestic shipping was $2.50, free shipping on orders over $25 dollars, and no state sales tax. Things sure changed and not for the better! I know they got Amazon Prime but I can't justify that for myself.
