I know there was a thread about this, but I can't find it. In it, someone posted links to a METROPOLIS restoration website that had a 1927 recording of four examples from the score. It was a sample record of four pieces of the score, so theatre owners could decide whether they wanted to rent the orchestral score to play along with the film. I believe it was also mentioned that there was a second 78 RPM disc that had not turned up, with other selections from the score.

I now refer you to:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZr8tc7id-Q

which includes all the pieces from the first and second discs,

as well as:

Enjoy the history!

Perky Nom: Those weren't the links. Those are only short snippets of some of the selections. I guess it's a moot point now anyway, as all of the selections from both of the discs are included in that first YouTube link I posted above.
