Thanks to everyone for their continuing patience and feedback. We are currently addressing the speed of the website and ironing out a number of other kinks over the next week. We are very excited about the initial positive feedback we have received, as many hours were spent designing a modern website that Varese Sarabande can be proud of. At the same time, we are hearing your suggestions and will continue to improve the site so that it not only looks great, but works well for customers on portable devices and PC’s. Consider this launch a phase 1! There have been many questions about the accounts of long term customers and what information will be transferred over from the old site. As we are using an entirely new commerce platform and payment processor, we are unable to port over credit card details, past purchases or passwords. We are currently porting over basic purchaser information and rebuilding out the “My Account” feature. Once the My Account feature launches, you will be asked to create a new password. In the interim, you are welcome to pro-actively create a new account instead or check out as a guest. For folks with questions about their past purchases on the old site, drop an email to orders @varesesarabande.com REMOVE THE SPACE after the "S" in ORDERS before sending email. In addition to the new website, you may have noticed increased attention is being paid these days to our Facebook and Twitter profiles and we would love if you followed us there. We also launched our first email newsletter in December and are integrating signup this week into our website. Combined with news stories and the forum on the website, there are a bevy of ways to stay in tune with Varese and our forthcoming releases, and believe me, we are cooking up some truly amazing releases for 2015! Thanks for your continued patronage and interest in Varese Sarabande. We don’t exist without our fans, and your enthusiasm for film music drives us to be the best label in the world.

But they'll still have the ridicuously hillarious over praisements in the descriptions and complete lack of interaction with customers on forums, right? It wouldn't be Varese without those. They should properly annoint you for that spokesperson position and arm you with more information.

They're working on it, from what I can see.

Varese release little of interest these days ... the club releases are great but these are few and far between . They released some excellent concert DVDs back a few years ago , but no more of these since . The other labels offer so much more ..... I'm not bashing any other label as am very spoken for being a big cult follower of La La Land Records, but I think Varese doesn't want to burn themselves out. There's going to come a point when there isn't as many old school titles to expand and release. Could Varese be more persistent? Why heck yes, but for the time being they're always keeping something in their back pocket in case the wells start to dry. That's how I see it anyways.

Maybe it's time to put some old LP's that have never seen the light of day on CD as download on the new site.

Wasn't their website just upgraded not long ago? Seems rather soon to change it again. Nonetheless, good luck with it all. And get on those Club releases.
