Has there ever been a film that was scored by "composer X"... then several years down the line, one of the imbecilic studios decided to do a "reboot", and once again the SAME composer wrote the score for the reboot? I'm not aware of one.

David Arnold with 007? Casino Royale was a sorta-reboot of the entire franchise, and he continued to score the first two Daniel Craig entries.

Hans Zimmer scored the first reboot of Batman (Batman Begins) and now will be scoring the second reboot of Batman (Dawn of Justice).
